Meet the Therapist and Owner
Presley Souers MS, LPC
Presley has been a therapist for 5 years. She specializes in PTSD, ADHD, chronic illness, physical disabilities, and caregiver fatigue. She also works with depression, anxiety, phobias, learning disabilities, and relationship issues. Over the last 5 years, Presley has worked in community health/school-based counseling, inpatient settings, and private practice. Presley has experience not only working with those who have disabilities, but she also has her own physical disability. Presley is a pediatric stroke and chronic illness survivor, and is the daughter of a C-PTSD survivor. She truly understands what it is like not to feel like the world was made for you.
Presley earned her BS in Psychology from the University of Central Arkansas. After graduation, she spent a year in Slidell, Louisiana, working with individuals experiencing chronic and severe mental health conditions. She completed an MS in Counseling Education at the University of Arkansas in 2018.
Presley is currently pursuing certification in EMDR. Having completed EMDR training in 2023, she is now completing the additional requirements for certification, which include 12 EMDRIA continuing education hours, 20 hours of consultation, and providing EMDR therapy to 25 clients. Her goal is to become a trainer in EMDR. Presley’s primary focus is on delivering EMDR for those who have chronic pain, chronic illness, medical trauma, and PTSD.
She is married to her childhood sweetheart, and they have called NWA home for the last 23 years. During her spare time, you’ll likely find her at home crocheting afghans, watering her garden, working out, drinking coffee with her husband, and spending time with her family.
Presley is currently taking clients! She accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield (also FEP), Ambetter, and self-pay.
